NFL’s @Patriots are on the verge of their first playoff appearance since 2011
NEW YORK — The New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts will play the first of their postseason games Saturday night, as the AFC Championship game will be played at Wembley Stadium.
The AFC Championship Game will be held in London after the Patriots won their sixth Super Bowl on Sunday, which was a blowout victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
The Colts have now won the last two Super Bowls.
It is the only time the Colts have not advanced to the Super Bowl since 2006.
The Patriots and Colts will be the two best teams in the NFL in this one, with both teams playing their first games in front of their home fans in the early morning hours of Saturday.
They will be playing for the Super Series title, which will be awarded to the team with the best record.
The NFL Championship Game, which has been played annually since the inaugural season of the NFL, has been a top priority of the league’s new owners and will be broadcast on NBC.
The game is set to begin at 11:30 p.m.
ET, with kickoff set for 1:30 a.m., with all teams scheduled to play.
The two teams are scheduled to start with two minutes left on the clock, and the clock will be restarted from 1:00 a.t. on each team.
The teams will play for a total of four quarters.
The Patriots are scheduled for four quarters, and will play a total time of 7:15 p.t., with the Colts starting at 7:05 p.p.t, with halftime set for 8:45 p.a.m, with all time set for 7:45 a.p., with a total kickoff time of 8:00 p.c.
The game will not be replayed.
